Stay and Play (S&P) is an optional program for an additional fee and offers extended hours from 12-2 pm. S&P will generally be offered twice weekly but is subject to change based on teacher availability, family interest and special events. Children are allowed to participate as long as they can handle extended day (no nap in schedule), behave appropriately and are enjoying themselves. Younger children and those who are not toilet-trained need prior approval from the director.
Advance registration and payment are required. Sign-up is handled on a monthly basis (exception for after-school programs extending beyond a month in scheduling). You may register your child as often as you like as long as all interested families are able to participate, otherwise we may be required to limit attendance. A minimum of four children must be registered to attend; otherwise S&P will be cancelled for that day. There is no reimbursement if child is picked up early or does not attend (unless out sick).
On the day that your child is scheduled to attend S&P, please make note on the classroom sign-in sheet. Each child must bring a well balanced, kid friendly lunch and beverage. Simple, healthy and ready to go! Do not send in items that require reheating and let the teacher know if food requires refrigeration.
