Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Four Realities of Our Power and Authority: • We don’t have power/authority that God doesn’t already have • We have to come to God for the power/authority that we need • The power/authority is not ours but delegated to us to use and administer wisely • Every knee shall bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God (Romans 14:11)

Store Up Treasures in Heaven: • Shift conversations from short-term temporal content to Eternal Spiritual content • Be available to spend time with people • Pray without ceasing

The “Word” gives us: • Power to Overcome the Lust of the Flesh • Power to Overcome the Lust of the Eyes (focus) • Power to Overcome the Pride of Life • Mercy and Grace in Our Need!

The Word of God is not an option.
